HE ALSO WRITES, MAINLY GRANDIOSE WESTERNS BUT OCCASIONALLY SOMETHING MORE PRACTICAL.

Actress and first time writer/director Clare McNulty frequently drives from Tucson, Arizona to Los Angeles and back for acting work. On the second half of one of these drives, she left Los Angeles late in the day, around 4pm. She stopped to get gas as the sun was going down, and unbeknownst to her, a cockroach joined her in her car. Roach Trip is based on that experience.

The first is a short with biblical connotations and a New York State of mind called LU, expected to begin filming this fall.

The second is his debut feature, a gothic horror film: The Blind, inspired by the short story of the same name written by Jacob Steinberg.
